is it cancer

I have a 1.9 solid nodule that is cold with internal blood flow.  All my labs are within normal range.  I only have this one nodule but it makes it difficult to swallow at times.  I am having surgery on tuesday.  Just wondering if this is going to be cancer

Good luck on the surgery, your chances with the blood flow are about 20%.  I had the same, 1.6 cm nodule that was causing swallowing issues and hoarseness, mine turned out to be cancerous, as well as several small micro tumors.  All my labs were normal, except my TPOab, I had Hashimotos.  Surgery for me was a piece of cake...both times.  I had RAI and am free and clear for now.  This cancer is almost always curable, so you are lucky.

If it is, I think I've heard if you have to have cancer, thyroid cancer would be one of the preferred types, as it is generally slow growing and self-contained usually to the thyroid.  You can ask the doctor if I'm remembering correctly on that.  My grandma had her thyroid removed for cancer and lived for decades afterward.  If you know and belong to the Lord, cast this care upon Him for He cares for you and may God bless you as you lean on Him during this scary time.
