hi I look lean and my sister is looks fat, comparing to me and she is taking medication for thyroid.
My question is that will a person get lean if thyroid secretes much and gets fat if it secretes less.

I have been skinny and fat and my thyroid before RAI was overactive.
So the fallacy that hyperthyroidism (too much hormone) causes weight loss is just that...a fallacy.
The same goes for Hypo (too little hormone).
The only way you will know is to get your Free T3, Free T4 and TSH checked along with antibody testing for Graves Disease and Hashimoto Disease.
