itchy!!!

Does anyone with Graves disease ever get itchy?  I have been so itchy lately. I am not sure if it is a side effect of the medicine (PTU),or a symptom of the disease. Any suggestions? Or thoughts?

My mother had Graves now has Hypothyroid/Hashimotos and itches all the time, she takes an antihistamine Claramax and treats it as an allergy when it gets severe this does help.

Yes, for me itiching has been part of the hyperthroidism due to Graves. It seemed to get worst, especially on my hands and feet after I started meds. Within 3-4 wks on meds it subsided. It would drive me nuts especially at night. Warm baths really helped.
