latest lab results .. normal range or still hypo???

Hello everybody!  I haven't posted here in a while but I'm curious about my latest lab results.  Please tell me what you think.  Thanks, Jamie

January 8, 2010:
Tsh - 1.800 (0.450-4.500) previously 3.860
Thyroxine (T4) - 7.4 (4.5-12.0) previously 7.6
T3 Uptake - 28 (24-39) previously 30
Free Thyroxine Index - 2.1 (1.2-4.9) previously 2.3
T4 test, Free (Direct) - 1.11 (0.82-1.77) previously 1.04
Triiodothyronine (T3) - 117 (83-200) previously 105

The previous results listed above are from November 13, 2009.

My symptoms are as follows:
Intolerant to sweets, craving dry or salty foods if any
Hair is falling out less but still borderline dry
Nausea or discomfort in upper chest or base of throat (self induced daily regement of OTC Zantac seems to help)
Bowels are a couple times a week at best but not constipated
Difficulty getting to sleep and/or waking constantly through the night
Mensus is regular but slightly lighter
Discomfort in leg & knee joints and muscles, as well as lower back

I've been told by another experienced Graves patient that I am still hypo (I apparently had been over medicated and went hypo); and that I need to go by the FT4.  Still, my doc seems to go by the TSH (and possibly the FT4?) but says I am in remission with normal ranges.  Any input?  TIA!

Your FT4 is still a bit low so I would suggest staying off the ATDS and beta blockers and keep an eye on the levels.
I'd still say you was hypo but there is no FT3 being done and that FT3 is important as it gives a clearer picture.

I forgot to add that I am off all anti thyroid meds and beta blockers.  I am only being treated for high blood pressure.  And I take Lexapro so my family won't kill me due to mood swings and agitation.
