Received someone else's TSH values...

Just wanted to post this... I am very relieved to announce that I do not have hypothyroidism, as I was told about six months ago, and then medicated for with Levothyroxine (100).  While I was waiting months to see one of the "best" endocronoligists, I myself decided to stop taking the medication as it was keeping me WIDE awake at night (one of the worst experiences I have had, I now have true sympathy for those who suffer from insomnia).  Although I had been told I had a TSH level of 71.0.. and that I really needed to take the synthroid, I felt that a good night's sleep was more important.  I'm glad I listened to the instincts of my body rather than to a doctor.  Once I saw the specialist, it was confirmed that I have a perfectly healthy and functioning thyroid and my TSH is 1.8.  The results given to me were someone else's!!  This also confirms how easy it is to put trust into what a doctor tells us about ourselves, and how easy it is to claim that as our reality.  Good luck to all of you.  This is a great website and a great forum, but I hope I never have to post a question again.
