How long does it take before the crying, anxiousness, anger, arm pain, leg pain, nervousness depression, night sweats and leg jerks last after a total thyroidectomy?? It's been 4 weeks post-op and I'm feeling worse with these symptoms everyday. Any suggestions?

What are your current TSH, FT3 and FT4 levels? What thyroid meds and what dosage are you taking? You sound hyper and could be on too much medication. Once you get your levels sorted, you should be doing better. Get to your endo and demand testing and treatment.

I am about to go through thyroid surgery, like yours in two weeks. I have not heard of what you are going through, so sorry I can not help . But there is something I would like to know and that is if you have been on any antidepressants lately as I have and I have found that symptoms to withdrawls to those are very much the same as thyroid problems. I do hope you get to feeling better. I know the tough time you have been through and the desire to get better,so this seems so unfair for you..  God Bless
