looking for help

my boyfriend has been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid.   He is taking medication.  His sister has him believing he needs to  eat a gluetin free diet, begin juicing, and other crazy things.  She is not a nutritionist.  She is just a health fanatic.  The problem is every day he gets the chills and an overall blah feeling around 3:00.  He says his head feels like it's full of cotton.  I keep telling him to go see his dr.  He has not seen an endocrinologist yet. Could his his current dose of medication be off or is it something else?

I will try to get him to tell the answers to your questions- he went in for some heart issues.  Heart was fine bloodwork came back that he had Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) he had been gaining weight and couldn't lose it.  this is what he told me happened at the appt.  Eveytime I ask what he is on, he says he doenst remember.  he always has an excuse.

Please post his thyroid test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Was the cause for his diagnosis of hypothyroidism diagnosed?  Does he have any other of the 26 typical hypo symptoms listed in this link?

What type of medication is he taking and what is the daily dosage?
