my shnthroid meds not working?

47 YEARS old, male, 2 children and wonderful wife. Been taking synthroid .100 mg and for 17 years been on management for pain. Started with sleep meds, and Darvoset. Now I take 2 Muscle relaxers, methadone 5 mg and ambian  and hydromorphone 10mg at bed time to sleep. Wake to synthroid, and 2 adderall, 75mg ea and methadone 5 mg. Mid day I take 5mg methadone for pain. In the past years I have developed the following, weight gain, severe dry skin, cold body temp and freezing hands and feet. short of breath, (lung test shows nothing). depression and anti depression meds do nothing but put me to sleep. Joint pain and such. Tappered off methadone and had to start back. I ended up so depressed I thought i was dieing. No energy and no drive. Once an over sex drive and now about dead. I feel my self warming up after I take synthroid and later that night I cool off again. MD tells me the meds are at the correct level. I have a bright future and a chance to make a pile of money. I am just so dead I can not finish the projects I start. Can you tell me a process to check this or get help? thanks

When did you last have your thryoid levels tested and what were the results?  Can you post them here, along with the ranges?  

You take so many other meds, I'm not familiar with, I'd hate to say too much else.  There are lots of people here though that might have some ideas.  

Do try to post thryoid levels if possible.

I have had great vision all my life, I am having times where I can not read news print. I visited an eye surgion and at the time I was OK, better than 20-20. But when eyes are 20-10 or better the 20-20 is an issue. When it comes and goes in the same day I wonder. Breathing problems were checked and lungs are good. I see things like iodine supliments and such. Is this a good idea when taking synthroid? and shoild I try other types of medications?
I lost 60 lbs 2 years back, I modified my diet and it came off well. Since that time I have gained back 40. I went back to the diet I did before and weight is not moving at all.
