normal tsh level but symptoms of too high

I had thyroid ca in 2001, I had a thyroidectomy and placed on Levothyroxin (with a higher dose to stop the new growth of thyroid tissue).  The last 3 years I have had tachycardia episodes and hair loss, but my blood tests show my levels are were they should be at.  Could there possibly be a connection to my tachycardia and thyroid problems?

Please expand on your comments.  I am post thyroidectomy and they are keeping my TSH level high.  The cardiologist says it is too high the my heart rates is getting dangerously high, no palpitations felt by me, but avg has jumped from 91 to 106, high 198. Problem is I feel great when it is extremely high like I am hardly exercising.  Endo says leave synthroid at 112.  TO me heart trumps cancer because one will kill me quicker. NICE THOUGHT!   So I am looking for alternatives.

Seriously, I am healthier FEELING than I have in years.  I had 2.5 cm papillary thyroid cancer of foliicular variant.  I had extreme neurological reaction to cytomel, messed up everything.

SO now what.  My endo says he doesn't even LOOK at anything but T4 & TSH.

It's related all right Hypothyroidism (you can show low on your chart and still by Hypo) and look into Iodoral Iodine that should help bring down your tachhycardia episodes. I actually drink everyday half a glass of water with 1/2 tablespoon of celtic sea salt it definitly helps me. The best is to get your FT3 & FT4 and RT3 tested then post go from their people can help you better with that information also if you can get your ferritin checked and posted.
