There are a lot of things that could cause this. Do you have a thyroid issue? If so, what? Are you on thyroid med? If so, what med and what dose?
Do you have recent thyroid test results that you could post, along with the reference ranges from your lab report?
Have you had your vitamin B12 tested? Deficiency of Vitamin B12 can cause tingling and pain in feet, legs and hands.
Sorry to ask so many questions, but you didn't give us nearly enough information to be able to help you.
Often, thyroid problems can cause carpal tunnel syndrome, which causes pain, burning and numbness in the thumb and fingers. With CTS, the thumb, index, and middle fingers are affected. Also, the ring finger can be affected all around, but often it's just the side of the ring finger closest to the middle finger that is affected. The pinky is not affected at all.
I agree with Barb that more background information would be very helpful.
If its thyroid related then many issues could be causing it.
Parathyroid issues can cause them too.
