partial hearing loss

Hi, i am now taking hypothyroid med with steroid and methylcobalamine inj for my partial hearing loss and tinnitus.  I am feeling somewhat better but not completely gone.  It has been 3 weeks taking meds.  How long did it takes to cure completely from this.  What medications did you take and what can I do for myself to improve it soon.
Need advice.  Did you think my antiinflammatory drug will help?

Hi, thank you for your advice. Now from the last 2-3 days I feel some improvement.  I stop taking caffeine containing drinks.  I think my steroids tab help me much although I was worried about the side effects of steroids.
Have a good day!

It could - however the thyroid abnormal - ness can increase the ringing of the ears without a whole lot of inflammatory issues too.

At my worst - the ringing was unbearable. I have been optimal now for almost 2 years and I still ( if I listen to it in a quite place) still have the ringing going on. I don't thnk it will ever completely stop now with my disease. But it certainly is not controlling me as it did and driving me crazy. I erally don't notice it day 2 day anylonger except know - that I am thinking about it... lol

It is linked also to magnesium depletion and with hypothyroidism - magnesium does drop chemically in our bodies and require some attention. So does the inflammation issues.
