That is a great story! I hope she brings you much joy!!!!!
She is soooooo cute!!! Can't wait to meet her! :)
Okay, so you found my weak spot...adorable. We're on our third rescue, and I wouldn't do it any other way...they're the best. I've been cruising the shelter for a while...need the right "match" for our current dog...wondeful, but just a tad jealous and likes being "only dog". Best of luck...I know she'll be great.
she is a fream - this is the first time I ever did something like this.
I just love her.
opps .......dream. -
She bumped my hand when I was typing... lol
What a great thing to do. I hope you bring each other many years of joy.
Stella, your dog is adorable and I'm sure you will have lots of wonderful years with her.
We are on our third rescue dog also. Last summer we had to put down our cocker spaniel that was 17 yrs old and came from the shelter -- she was so old and had too many medical issues and meds could no longer make her comfortable.
The 2 dogs we have now are both rescues also. One (a beagle mix) was gotten for an 80 yr old man as a puppy -- someone didn't have their thinking cap on there!! Anyway, she was headed to the pound, so we took her.
The other one we now have is another cocker spaniel that was used for breeding in a puppy mill. Someone actually cut her vocal cords so she can make no sound whatsoever, except snoring. When the puppy mill got done with her, they took her to the pound, which then called the cocker spaniel rescue ---- poor thing. She's about 10 yrs old and probably won't live a whole lot of years more because she was treated so badly, but at least she will live out the rest of her life being happy and well cared for.
awwww Barb --- I feel so bad for her...
