post Thyroid surgery

I had partial thyroidectomy on 3/1/10 and a week and a half after the surgery i started experiencing palpitations, hot flashes, anxiety, depression.  I just wonder if this is normal?  I have not felt good since I had the surgery I have seen many doctors and have had frequent emergency room visits and they all tell me that everything is normal.  I just wonder if there is anyone experiencing the same thing.

well i have had multiple md and emergency room visits and my labs or tsh level keeps fluctuating between 7 and 9 with highest been 12.  I just had it rechecked about 2 days ago and it was a 4. something don't remember exact number.  however the endocrinologist I saw about a week ago tells me he will repeat them in 6 weeks to see if he will need to place on hormone replacement.

Yes I have had labs performed and I am currently not taking any hormone replacements.  I have an appointment next week with a thyroid specialist and I am hoping he can help?

I'm so sorry you are not feeling well. I have not had a PT, but I wanted to say hello and welcome. If I may ask, why did you have a PT? Are you on any thyroid replacement meds? Your symptoms sound like you may be HYPO. Have you had
any labwork done? If you have, please post your results and the referance ranges. There are many very helpful members here who can offer great advice and support.
