My turn to say phew! Your symptoms do sound hypo, but as you know, they can be symptoms of many things. There is just absolutely nothing in your labs that suggests hypo. As I said, if I just looked at labs, I could say, "well, maybe borderline hyper", but not hypo. Were any other thyroid tests run? Antibodies? Were you referred to an endo based on these labs?
Oh yes and severe muscle pain and spasms in my back.. how could I forget that...
phew where to begin..
exhaustion but difficulty sleeping, but if allowed can sleep for hours and hours, severe hair loss, extreme irritability, depression (not postpartum), dry itchy skin, severe Cold intolerance, occasional palpitations, recently began chest tightness, difficulty concentrating on one thing, severe memory problems.. I am only 27 I seem to be stuck at the same weight too.. diet and exercise didnt help but I am not overweight... 115 lbs 5'2... 8 months postpartum.. my whole life even after baby #1 I was 100 lbs and couldn't gain weight for the life of me now I seem "stuck"
Your FT4 looks really good...just over midrange. FT3 is also good in the upper third of its range. T3 uptake is a little on the high side, indicating hypERthyroid, but it's considered an obsolete test and has been replaced by FT3. Your TSH is a bit on the low side, but since TSH is a pituitary hormone, it is much less important than your actual thyroid hormones, FT3 and FT4. If I were just looking at your labs and hadn't heard your symptoms, I'd say that, if anything, you MIGHT be bordering on HYPER. What are your exact symptoms?
T4Free 1.4 range is 0.8-1.8 mg/dL
T3 Free 365 range is 230-420 pg/dL
T3 Uptake is 35 range is 22-35%
What are the ranges on your FT3 and FT4?
