scar stuff

i was just grocery shopping at Whole Foods and talked to the girl in the beauty section and she highly recommended this natural scar reducer...it has almond extract, onion extract, olive oil, vitamin e, and some other natural stuff.  what did/do you all use on your scar?

My doctor told me to rub it nightly with "your favorite cream, or Vitamin E oil, or Mederma or the like."  I was alternating Bio Oil (contains lavender oil) and bag balm.  Both were great.  I had to stop, though, as my scar is sooooo sore to the touch.

I only bother it now to put on sunscreen before I go outside...and I'm thinking of stopping that and putting a bandage over it instead.

OH I have the rice oil here inthe house from my last chinese wok cooking adventure!

I will try it!

I have used the onion ones on my kids' stitches and it has done a good job .. and there is  new one out there with SPF 30 in it .. Maderma SPF I saw in an ad!

As long as you aren't paying a fortune for it, then that is a good scar healer. Anything with a natural oil base is great for the skin. I used Grace Cosmetics Vital Skin Oils...it is a little expensive but I sell it and got it cheap! When that ran out I used Rice Bran oil...the stuff you cook with! Natural and it works!

I used Glaxal Base and found it very good.
