It sounds like a real mess. I would hope (ahem) that there would be some recognition that people need their medical records NOW, which might speed up the process.
Good luck. When you get some numbers, please post them.
How are you feeling now that you've stopped taking the Armour for a while?
i actually sent info this week to law firm and they are supposed to send me my labwork/records...however who knows how many patients there were so i imagine that it will take some time....and i am a couple weeks away from getting hormone inserts that i was getting there so am a little anxious about what changes i will go thru in a few weeks!!! i live in a super rural area...not a whole lot of medical choices here which is why i was driving 2+ hrs. to go to this facility! but obviously that didn't work out too well :)
Wow, that really boosts your confidence, doesn't it? LOL
It sounds like you should probably find a new doctor asap. If it is the Armour causing your symptoms, you'd have to have a script for something else.
One thing you should do is get into the habit of getting copies of all your lab results. There's not much to go on here. We don't know which tests your doctor ran to diagnose you hypo and start you on meds, so it's pretty tough to evaluate. Is there any way you can get your lab results? Perhaps you can get them from the lab that ran them (especially under the circumstances where tthe doctor's office is closed).
I have no labs......I am taking 30 mg. once a day.....
other new symptoms are joint pain/stiffness and no, previous symptoms not resolved....continued lethargy + and 0 weight loss.....
As of this morning I am stopping medication in hopes that the faintness/dizzyness will go away as well as the joint pain....the office of the Dr. that prescribed the medication I have since found out has been closed by legal action! That makes me feel really comfortable :)
If this started just after starting Armour, it has to be a prime suspect.
Do you have labs and reference ranges to post?
How much Armour are you taking, and how do you take it (once or twice a day)?
Have you developed any other new symptoms since starting meds? Are your hypo symptoms resolving?
