What are your current thyroid hormone levels? You should be getting tested before each med increase, for Free T3, Free T4 and TSH. Please post the results of your latest tests, along with reference ranges, with vary lab to lab so we can better assess you situation.
Magnesium and other supplements can be taken, as long as they are taken, at least, 4 hours away from thyroid medication.
Once we see what your actual levels are, we'll have a better idea of what's going on.

Thanks for the input. I had blood work done this morning and going to see my doctor today at 2pm. I have only had my blood tested 1 time since I was originally put on synthroid about 8 months ago. I have been under a lot of stress lately with my 16 year old daughter so I guess that could cause some of my symptoms. Will post outcome of doctors appointment. Thanks again.
I agree, get retested...

Well, anxiety can be from being hypo too. It has just been added on to the list. I would call your doc and have tests done asap. I would also note that headaches, migraines are hypot t too. You could be having anxiety from the stress of all the headaches, but that is my opinion. I would just get a check up and post your notes. Main thing if your feeling ill, weak joints hurt could be just back to hypo. If your sweating alost, and cant sleep that could be from being hyper, but thats me.
Have you had a follow up blood test to monitor your dosage change to 50mcg? It certainly sounds like hyper symptoms to me, but you should be monitored closely and tested with any dosage change. Call your doc and describe your symptoms and ask why you haven't been tested to check the effectiveness of your new dosage change. You should have been tested at 6 weeks!
