i was taking synthroid .125 when i was tested the first time. she said that my tsh was suppressed so she lowed me to .112. when i went back four days later thats when my t4 dropped so much. i stay tired all the time. like my eye lids are extremely heavy and its all i can do to do the important things like taking care of my family. i havent been able to lose any weight no matter what. she put me on phentermine 37.5 to help with energy and weight loss. this is my third day on it. the first two days i was bouncing off the walls and now today i feel like i was, extremely tired and wore out. they tested my t3 level but havent given me the results on it.

What meds are you on?  Sounds like the TSH is no longer reliable for you to monitor your thyroid hormone levels.  This happens to many people who are on thryoid meds for a longer time.

Your doctor should actually be testing your FT3 and FT4, which are the available hormone.

How do you feel?

Whatever you do, do not let them reduce your meds on the basis of your TSH.  You will be in big trouble.

Actually you should be increasing your meds to get your FT3 and FT4 at least to mid range and then further adjustments should be made on basis of how you feel.
