Thank you Gimel unfortunately today was just the lab work I’ll have to wait 3 day before the TSH results come back hopefully the T3, T4 test were included, if not back to the doctor and I won’t take no for an answer, I’m taking an active role in my health.

Just in case goolarra does not see this before you go to the doctor tomorrow, I wanted to suggest that in addition to the TSH test, you should request to be tested for the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T3 and Free T4.  Those two tests are more revealing of your thyroid status than TSH.  If the doctor resists, then you should insist n them and don't take no for an answer.  Since many thyroid patients are low in other areas, if not already scheduled, I would also suggest that you request testing for Vitamin A, D,  B12, and ferritin.

Thank you for your answer Goolarra, I just went to the doctor today and I'm  taking 15 different lab test tomorrow, couldn't today because I had some coffee with cream before the appointment. None of them said thyroid so I was just making sure. Excuse me for the mix up on the forum I'm new here as of the 17 of July still learning how everything works. Thanks again

This is a members' forum.  We are not doctors.

TSH is a thyroid test, but I've never heard of the "[84443 CPT]" part of it before.  Do you have a result and the reference ("normal") range from your lab report?  We might be able to figure out what test you had from that information.
