Can anyone help with your experiance?
My Tg is 16 and my TgAb is 10.I am on TSH suppressed at 0.09.
I had T/T on 1.6.2011 followed by RAI.
Is the Tg result specific in the presence of TgAb. Is it a sign of recurrence.

Thyroglobulin is a "marker" for thyroid cancer, after cancer treatment, the way the doctors check for recurrance is to get a thryoglobulin test. If thyroglobulin is high, then there is a possibillity of recurrance of the cancer. Have you had a thyroidectomy? Is this the test where they have injected you with thyrogen for two days, then tested your thyroglobulin? If that is the case, check with your doctor, but you may have a recurrance.
