thyroid, PCOS are they related?

Diagnosed with Hashimoto's 8 years ago. Recently diagnoses PCOS.

on .175 MG of Synthroid and here are the test results:
T3    2.54
T4    1.09
TSH  1.4
Thyroid Peroxidase Auto   351   (normal <35)

Testerone total: 87.2 (normal 10-70)
Estradiol           39 (dr says its low)
FSH                  7.0
LH                    11.0
Prolactin            5.3
Insulin               1.6  (1.9-23 normal range)

I have many symptoms from brain fog, double vision, headaches. They put me on estrogen cream to lower testerone.
Does anyone think this could be something else???

Please help.

I think they go hand in hand. When I have had a hormonal inbalance, my thyroid goes whacky. I have had 3 children and after the birth I have always had thyroid inbalance.
I dont understand.

I have both hypothyroidism and PCOS, but I was diagnosed with pcos 10 years ago, and hypothryoidism 3 weeks ago.  I do understand that they are very much related and often go hand in hand... I hope that helps
