thyroid overdose

My doctor increased my thyroid medicine The first day I was OK but after the second day, i felt wierd, I have AFIB, that night I had severe AFIB and heart  palapatations, confusion and thirst. I took a valium for my anxiety attacks and fell asleep. The next day I took my normal dose. I am not taking anything today, how long will this stay in my system. I am waiting to hear from my doctor.

If you took T4 only, I doubt it would have affected you after two days. Usually it take about 3-4 weeks to notice anything on dosage change for just T4...

Now if it was T3 yes I can see how that would affect you right off the bat.
