OK I went this morning for my FNA. But the doctor and pathologist who were going to do the biopsy, was checking my Thyroids out on the ultra sound and they decided that it did not need to be done. They said it was ill defined, did not show cold on scan and was starting to shrink, went from a 3.5 to a 2.7 cm nodule in 6 months with meds, so they thought it would be a waste of time and money to do one right now. Is this normal? The guy who was going to do my biopsy is the one who has read all my scans and ultra sounds. Any thoughts on this from anyone?
