thyroid problems

Please help me. I have been on armour thyroid for 30 years. Have done well with it.  Four months ago, I started having severe symptoms .  I really need some answers.  If you have any suggestions for me, please get intouch with me.

Just because your test results were in the so-called "normal' ranges does not mean that is adequate for you.  The ranges are far too broad.  Please post the actual results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.

My test results came back normal on 30 mg per day.  I've been on that dose for 30 yrs.  No problems.  Feeling great.  About 4 months ago I noticed that the armour wasn't the same; thought the pharmacy gave me the wrong pill. Still he said it was armour thryoid, nothing has been chaned.I keep going back to him stating I feel different.  It felt like I drank l0 cups of coffee.  I started to eliminate different things from my diet thinking certain foods were ativating.    I then still having symptoms called my doctor to do blood work on me.  Everything again normal.








I had a problem in sendig this to you.  I just had blood work three days go, cheking everying.  Everything came back good.  I have been on 30 mg on armour thyroid for 30 years.  never any problems. About 4 months ago I noticed that my prescription looked different.  I went back to the pharmacy stating that this is not the same drug that I've been taking.  He again looked at their stock of armour stating that this is the same.  I then starting eliminating foods thinking that something that I was eating was triggering my problems.  I at that time, kept on my armour.  Symptoms were terrible.  I started with heart palpitations, hair loss, shaking, and sever sweating.  I then called Forest Labs.  No satisfaction.  I called about l2 other pharmacies to see if anyone knew about the change in armour.  There were only 2 that gave me some satisfaction.  I again went to my doctor asking for additional blood work on my thyroid gland.  Everthing came back okay.  When I told her what was going on with me, she had said that she had heard that they were having trouble gettig armour.  I the  and cellulsent on the internet finding out that may have the same issues as me.   Forest lab has added fillers to armour. Desiccated thyroid and cellulose don't mix plus added fillers. Cellulose plant name is Avicel
which is from wood [wood is fiber] and inhibits absorption.  The result of this is the return of hypo symptoms.  Hypo. patients have poor digestion and and low stomach acid, so I feel this may be the problem.  I at this point don't know.Please I hope you can be of some help to me and many others.  Thanks.

Hard to have any suggestions without more info from you.  What dosage of Armour Thyroid daily?  What are these severe symptoms?  Please post your thyroid test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.
