Thank you I will.

I ask my doctor about beta blocker and she does not want to give me any.  I will try natural way. When it is humid it is worse.

Have you tried magnesium for constipation?  As a laxative, you want to use magnesium oxide.  Magnesium is water soluble, so what you don't use is excreted, but ask your doctor and follow label instructions.

As far as palps are concerned, have you ever asked your doctor about a beta blocker?

I can see why your doctor took you off meds.  You were on a very small dose, and your FT4 was above midrange and FT3 was almost into the top quarter of the range.  I am surprised that your TSH was as high as it was.  With those FT3 and FT4 levels, I'd expect it to be much lower.  You might ask your doctor to consider a pituitary issue

If you didn't feel hyper on meds and you now have palps returning, I guess you have to weigh overall whether you feel better on or off meds.  In terms of thyroid, however, I don't think you need to be on them.  Your frees looked very good, even a bit on the high side.

I would continue to look for another health issue.

Yes it was while on medication. I was on westhroid 1/4grain.  T3and t4 results are above.  I have nausea on westhroid....took westhroid for 2 months and 2and half year before on armour thyroid.  Since I started this thyroid med. my feet became red.....is there another health issue?
Thank you caroline

T4 19.6 range 12.0 22.0
Thyroid per oxidase 26 range 0 - 35

I had frequent bowel movement before I stop.  I cannot stop for a long time because heart palpitation are coming back

"Because he said that my t3 and t4 are normal"  What were your T3 and T4 at the time, and were you on meds still when you had this "normal" result?

Your doctor should be testing FREE T3 and FREE T4 every time blood is drawn.  He should also test you to see if you have Hashi's.  The tests for that are thyroid peroxidase antibodies and thyroglobulin antibodies.

What were you taking before you stopped?  How long ago did you stop?  Did you have any hyper symptoms (symptoms of overmedication) when you were still taking meds?

Because he said that my t3 and t4 are normal , no he did nothing else, but me feet became red when I was taking thyroid med, and even when I took some in the past. I know I probably need some, but my face gets all numb. When I take this.  What do you think I should be testing?

Why did your doctor tell you to stop meds?  What had you been taking before discontinuing?  How long ago did you stop?  Were you having hyper symptoms while on meds?

Did your doctor test anything other than TSH?

Do you know the cause of your hypo, i.e. have you ever had antibody tests to confirm or eliminate Hashi's as a possibility?
