You should ask your doctor for a copy of your lab results. Every lab has a different range. Most US labs range for normal TSH is 0.5 to 5.5. Here is a website that talks about hyperthyroid and what tests you should ask your doctor to do. http://thyroid.about.com/library/howto/hthyperthyroidism.htm
Are you going to a general practioner or an endocrinologist? If going to a gp you should ask for a referral to a endo who specializes in thyroids (some specialize in diabetes only). Read the website and if you have more questions ask away. There a some very knowledgable people on this site.
With a TSH that low you may be hyperthyroid. Have you been tested for Graves disease?
all the doctor said was that my test was a little of and not to worry about it. Is .19 bad or is it not a big deal. should I ask for more tests. I real don't know what to do or what that number means.
thanks,
The range from the lab is .4-5.5 and mine was .19 also at the time I was taking asprin about 300mg could that have made a difference.
