update on old post

I posted last year and haven't read the posts in a while. I thought  I would quickly tell you where I am now. Basically in the exact same place. Daily morning anxiety that lasts until mid afternoon. After that, feel pretty normal. I have had a thyroid problem for forty or so years due to the beginning of a goiter. For thirty plus years taking synthroid 100 took care of everything. About ten years ago I developed this morning anxiety, and for the exception of a few months here and there because of knee replacements and other operations (I guess the pain took the place of anxiety) I have had it EVERY morning. My thyroid has fluctuated horribly for the past eight or so years and is still doing so. I have a physical in two weeks and am going to request a trial on Armour. Needless to say it gets me down horribly. It mainly affects my stomach, so I find it hard to eat in the morning. So...same ol' same ol'. Hope some of you are better.

hi  Laura,
My last TSH, T3, T4 showed a slightly below norms being used now in all three. I take Tarka for blood pressure, tylenol plus codeine for pain (two knee replacements) ambien to sleep. My new script provider switched me to generic syntroid  and I think I feel the difference. I will talk about all of this to doc in two weeks. Will live through the mornings until then . I'm going to ask him to add anything to my blood work that could affect anxiety, like estrogen, cortisol, etc. Hope I can find an answer that is physical, because the symptoms are so very consistent.
Thanks for the interest.
