what is R L B blood test for
having my blood's done tomorrow and i noticed i never had this blood test done befor,i have graves 18 months on med's hope to come off them next week when i see my endo,only one thing i think i'am heading hyer again last 3 day's geting pain's in chest and palp's no other symtoms but it knocks me for six thought i was dying dismorrning it came on me so quickly took my beta block and was fine, thank's xxx annmarie
Forgot to mention...since you have Graves...the liver enzymes may be raised but no need for panic as the levels have to be in the 1000's before any damage is done.
The RLB testing is for:
cholesterol -good and bad
creatine
ALT is liver enzymes
RLB Creatine
RLB Glucose,
RLB ALT
LIPID SCREENING
RLB Cholesterol
RLB HDL Cholesterol
RLB DIRECT LDL Chol.
These are routine blood tests....no need to panic.
Do you have to fast?
Usually you do for this test....I would call the labs prior and ask them.
