WBS done today for annual.....

I had my first annual WBS today and found out that I have to go back on Monday because they could see behind my bowels.  The tech asked me is I had taken the laxative (which is TOTALLY disgusting) they gave me earlier this week.  I told him "yes".  He asked me if it worked.  I told him enough to stop up my toilet.  But I guess it didn't work well enough, so I get to drive annother 3 hour round trip on Monday.  God love thyca!

I've been told a few times in my life that I was full of doo-doo.  Now I guess I have medical proof that I am!

Okay, I am not at my 1 year anniversary yet. Did the doctor tell you to take laxatives before the scan.  These are things I would need to know.  Cancer does suck............

Hey MJ good to see you back on board, but I won't even say" TMI". As I said when you welcomed me to the thyca club. The camaraderie is nice but the initiation sucks. I am wishing  you a very productive week end :)

Oh, you've got to be kidding!  They are going to make you do another 3-hour round trip?!?!  What's wrong with having you take a hand full of laxatives, an enima or two, and scanning again later (even if the outpatient department is closed there is always someone in the inpatient area)!

Today must be the Friday the 13th for thyca patients doing hospital tests!!!

Man, if I would have known this was going to be an issue for you I would have sent you some of my mother's leftover turkey - it would clean out ANYONE!   :-(
