Are you sure that's the right figure for your TSH?  At that level, you should have been in a coma.

Was TSH the only test that was done?  You should also get tested for the actual thyroid hormones, Free T3 and Free T4.  If you haven't had those tested, ask your doctor.

There's no set time it takes to feel better.  It all depends on getting the proper treatment.  What med were put on, what dosage and how long have you been on it?

Do you have the results of the scan?  What dose of levo were you put on?

Can you get your doctor to run the Free T3 and Free T4 tests?

Yes I will ask for the T3 and T4 ,my scan was for pain and pressure under and behind my rib,my mom died of throat cancer,I was sent for the light test down my throat 3 months ago,I had scaring in my throat ,I have acid reflex, but at that time they did not sat any thing about thyroid, but said it was not a goiter,so I was place on stomach meds,my mom and husband died with in a year of each other with in the last 2 and a half year,I am more into home remedies than medicine, but at this time I am seeking medical advice, I have change my diet to a healthier diet, thank you
