Thank's for your help,i will post again ,,ta annmarie
Hi...I suggest you start a new thread and get "Grave's" and "remission" into the title line. We have several members who are very knowledgable in Grave's, and you will attract their attention if it's in the title. Then, add the information from your first post and the most recent post, too. You might also post the results of your most recent antibody test. Just trying to help you find the people who can give you the best info...
Yes i have graves, got it 10 month's after having my baby,i.m on carbimazole 5mg a day,my anti bodies are right down so doc thinks i'am heading for remmision .thanks for input
Yes, please clarify...do you have Grave's? Which meds are you on?
"REMISSION" of what???? What other tests have been done besides TSH and FT4? What is the lab's reference range for the FT4? Have you had tests done to determine what the cause of your hypothyroidism is -- such as autoimmune Hashimoto's? Have you had a Free T3 done?
It's usually pretty rare for anyone to be able to get off thyroid med, once started on it. It's usually a life long thing, but taking one little pill each day is not such a big deal when it keeps you feeling well and your life moving on schedule.
Please post any other lab results you have in order for members to comment more fully.
