Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In meningiomas a conditioned medium of a neutralizing antibody is added against platelet-derived growth factor to see its effect on DNA synthesis—to know the cell activity basically—how fast the cells are diving and whether DNA synthesis of cells can be inhibited. Pronounced effects means that effect of something was more than expected—it could be the effect of the neutralizing antibody or any other signal or intensity they are testing. Please discuss this with your neurologist.
Take care!
Well you can use an on-line dictionary to find out what neutralizing and pronounced mean if you don't know that. But you didn't give enough information. What is having a neutralizing effect on what? And what pronounced effect? Without the subject nouns and the rest of the report, for that matter, those phrases don't mean anything.
