I have been on 3 - 2mg tablets of clonazepam daily since September of 2010. In March of 2010 I died for a down time of 17 mins. They kept my comma induced for 72 hours. I had a 1% brain capacity and they were not hopeful. Now it is 2013 and i was on Gavapanten 300 mg a day and the clonazepam. My neurologist 2 months ago took me off the Gavapanten. Now I have educated myself on the Clonazepam and decided I want to get off the Benzo. I have myoclonus which gives me tremors but no anxiety. Almost all of the symptoms they mention I am experiencing. I have lost so much weight, blood in stool, constipation, sweats, irritable and lost vision. I have gone from 6 mg to 4 mg taking 2mg in the morning and 2 before bed. Last night while out with friends I was shaking so bad. My neurologist has not returned my calls to address this so I am just going to go from 6 to 4mg for a month. Then I will take 3 mg for a month, 2mg for 2 weeks. 1 mg for 2 weeks and then .05 mg for 2 months. I cannot wait for the doctor as I am scared of all the symptoms. Please let me know if this is wise?
