I hit my head, should I get it checked out?

I was in a school skit yesterday and in the skit I am suppose to fall down. Well when I fell I accidentally fell super hard and smacked my head on stage. My head hurt right after and I had on and off headaches yesterday. I was also dizzy and felt a little nauseous. Last night and today my neck has been feeling very painful. It hurts in the back and especially in the front by my windpipe and on the sides. Other then the neck pain none of the other symptoms remain. Should I get it checked out? Is it a concussion what do you think?

If you aren't feeling well, you  might want to let a doctor check it out for peace of mind. Especially, if you blacked out after hitting your head. Things to look for after a head injury are vomiting, pupils not reacting to light appropriately, anything that seems out of normal neurologically. I would avoid aspirin and NSAID medications (can thin blood or make bleeding worse)  until you see a doctor. Best wishes...

It is a good sign that it is improving but it would probably be best to have a doctor check it out. This has some information that you could discuss with a doctor:
