PCS after a year

I got hit  in the right side of the head a year ago and nothing has really changed.  I'm 28 and a large man with little to no fat,  but have been weak as a baby since my accident.  Headaches, neck pain, confusion, and blood presure problems.  Have had several MRI's, and CAT scans and only shown a small bleed when It first happeened.  I take Imitrex, Topimate for headaches.  Atenolol, Cozzar, and Clondine blood pressure. Elavil for nerve somthing.  I have seen a nerologist and he said I should be fine by now.  Still having problems what can I do, and why is'nt this thing going away.

Hi, I have been suffering from PCS for 5 months now.  I dont have headaches thank God, but I do have a deep pressure feeling in the center of my head more towards the front.  Did you ever have that?

Thank you for your reponse.  I took a B-12 shot at the doctors couple of months ago and vitiamins every day.  I have done this for years.  I had a neck MRI and I said that the only thing was a narrowing of two vertebrae. Can't remember which.  Will ask about nerve conduction studies.  But what about memory and headaches.  please response

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Since MRI and Ct scans of brain are normal, maybe you should look at getting MRI of upper cervical vertebrae done. This along with nerve conduction studies may help. It can also be Vit B12 deficiecy or deficiency of Vit D3 and not related to injury. Diabetes and hypothyroidism too should be looked at.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
