feeling angry and tense

after my head injury a month ago, even though i never had it evaluated, is it still possible that i can have problems from it? i am feeling very angry, tense and not like myself..i have a very bad headache and ringing in my right ear every once in a while...i am nauseous and sometimes dizzy...i have an 8 year old and a 4 1/2 month old to take care of and a husband who is never home because he works..i basically have no time to get evaluated..i went to an opthalmologist last saturday(june 6) because i was also having eye pain and she wanted me to go to the emergency room and have a ct scan done...well, i never went because my husband had to get to work and now it is a week later and my symptoms are worsening...i have contacted my family doctor and am still waiting for him to get back to me..i really dont want to go to the emergency room but i am starting to become a little bit more worried now that the symptoms are not going away and they are just getting worse... could i have something wrong in my head from the time that i hit it? even though it was a month ago? should i just suck it up and go to have the scan done? i would appreciate any advice that i could get...

I would DEFINITLY go to ER ASAP. There could be something going on from that head injury. Please go checked and keep us informed.

Hi,

How are you? I recommend that you go and have the CT scan done. It is common to have headache, nausea or ringing of the ears after an injury to the head. However, with your worsening symptoms, it is best that this be evaluated for proper management. Talk to your husband about this so that he will understand what you are feeling. It is better to have this checked sooner to ease your anxiety and to determine the underlying cause.

Take care and do keep us posted.
