Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It depends on the extent of the injury. At times the nerve is in shock and comes out of it slowly. However, if nerve fibers are damaged, then recovery is not possible. Still, discuss this with a neurologist who can examine you. Take care!

I see you have two posts regarding this alfactory nerve and skull fracture. First let me say I am sorry if you or someone you know had this happen.

When you have done searches, nothing really has come up? Please, in no way take that as I think you shouldn't ask here, I am genuinely interested in what your research has told you, for my own knowing.

There will be more people on later to start posting and help out, until then, please relax and have a great morning :-)
