head swelling front leftside and to middle of head

i have had a head on car collision. my head is throbbing. i feel dizziness and nausea which comes and goes. I have put ice packs on the swelling. the swelling has gone down ,but my head is still pounding and my blood pressure high.
I feel like i've been hit with a mac truck. please instruct.

You need to proceed immediately to am emergency room for an evaluation. Now. Not thirty seconds from now.

There are lots of "missing pieces".

There is a limited "window" of opportunity available to medically treat head injuries. If that window is made use of a patient may recover with no side effects. If there is swelling or bleeding and there is no treatment the result may be permanent loss of sentience, partial paralysis, emotional danage because of destruction of regulatory mechanisms, and chronic debilitating pain.

In addition any head injury involving neck flexure must be considered a "rule out spinal damage".

You must not wait for a doctor's appointment.

You need to go to an emergency room, preferably at a hospital designated as a trauma center.

You need to consult a neurologist as soon as possible or go to an emergency room and get evaluated for head injury and concussion. You may also need a MRI of the brain. The headaches could just be due to the hit or due to some bleed (that caused the swelling) or due to just a superficial injury to scalp. It cal also be due to bead injury that goes deeper into the brain.
Since you have developed nausea and dizziness, watch out for these symptoms and note them: vomiting, excess sleep, severe headache, difficulty in walking and balance, tremors, seizures, vision problems, ringing in ears etc. Please consult a doctor immediately. Take care!
