Hello,
In mild traumatic brain injuries, the patient often has headache, mental confusion, dizziness, blurred vision and fatigue and lethargy.
In moderate to severe brain injuries, there is loss of consciousness, a severe, persistent, or worsening headache, repeated vomiting or nausea, seizures, dilatation of the pupils, slurred speech and weakness or numbness in the extremities.
Doctors assess the patient's condition by measuring vital signs and reflexes and by performing a neurological examination. They assess the patient's level of consciousness and neurological functioning using the Glasgow Coma Scale. Diagnosis is confirmed after X-Rays, CT and MRI brain. Prognosis and treatment depends on that.
In case you need any more information, pls post us.
Take care and God bless.
