When can i wash my head area after a laceration?

Hi All,

I suffered a laceration on my top of my head in the scalp area around 4 days back. I went to the hospital and since the laceration required stitches, a mod hat (with my own hair) was done with some kind of glue. I was told that the glue would come off after three days but its been 4 days and the glue is still there on the scalp (but dried up). I was also told that I cannot wash my head for around 3 days. Its day 4, is it alright if I wash my head now? If yes, then can i shampoo it or just wash with water?
Please help, cause I am not sure what should I do next.

You should be fine with cleaning your hair. The only thing that you need to be mindful of is not to scrub that area to hard.
