Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Specific treatment is by putting the thrombolytic agent into the sinus using a microcatheter to dissolve the clot. Other than that treatment is given in form of IV fluids, antiseizure medications and other such problems are treated symptomatically. In patients not responding, surgical removal of the thrombus is done.
Hope this helps. Take care!
