what am i to expect in the future?

I have had dizziness and weird forgetfulness, along with horrific muscle spasms in my head like i am being attacked by a axe murderer.  back in 2008 i had a very bad concussion with a very large lump on the back of my head behind my ear.  my dr recently ran a bunch of scans and MRI's and has found what appears that i have had a large  blood clot at one point and it has calcified. that is all she has told me, (she hadnt said it was from that injury we just assume it was) with the memory loss and other weird things going on im freaking out becuase there has been no other answer but what she told me.  WHAT am i to expect in the future with this? is there a chance of more clots?

Thank you, i am waiting on an appt. with a neurologist because i felt the same way, there are no answers and im scared.  Yes the clot we believe was due to an injury and its in the region of the transverse sinus on the left side. says that there is no mass or vascular anomaly. I does not sound like it will be a future bother but why over the past 4 years has my symptoms gotten worst? my family has a very bad history of cancer and this worries me, is this calcification able to turn into anything else? or anything other than what im experiencing going to get worst? dementia? early alzheimers?  those are the questions i am asking, simply becuase over the past few years the spasms are almost blinding, and the memory loss getting really bad and where i am smart as a whip most days i am having a extreme hard time concentrating or mispelling simple words as im writing, there seems to be a disconnectedness from my brain and hands some days. its worrisome

Hi!
It is very difficult to comment on your situation because there is a lot of information missing. The future depends on the size and position of the clot. The clot can be subdural or outside the lining of brain or it can be inside the brain. If the clot was due to injury then further clots will not develop. If the clot is inside a blood vessel then more may develop. You need to discuss all this with a neurologist. Also, the neurologist needs to judge whether your symptoms are due to the clot or not. Take care!
