Introduce yourself!!

Ladies....I notice a few more new members of this group....which is great! I'm so happy :) Just wanted to see if everyone wanted to introduce themselves and tell us a bit about themselves so people can find cycle buddies and someone to relate to!!

My name is Heather. I live in Ontario, Canada.
I started this group because sometimes it was just a little difficult to see so many people talking about their actual pregnancies on the other forums. It was to not offend anyone but sometimes it was a little heart pinching!!

I first came off bc in September 2008 and didn't really try or prevent until about June/july 2009. Got pregnant in Oct 09 and miscarried at 5 weeks. Then got pregnant again in Jan 10. Currently I'm in my 14th week and still check up on the lovely ladies in this group! ♥

hello , i am sophie and i am TTC for the first time (everythign else in life seemed to take over and all of a sudden its caught up with me) it seems like a great time to get pregnant, unfortunatley due to partner work commitments and my own its difficult to even attempt to get pregnant but going to try anyway!!  I truly believe in listening to my inner (currently more and more maternal wannabe) self .......but as i have never been pregnant before i am a little worried i wont be able to  - which is how i found this forum. Its always great to know you're not the 'only one going through this'. So thats me ....currently 11 dpo and no sign AF but could be due in next couple days.......LOADS of Baby Dust to everyone :)

My name is Lisa and i have two boys from a previous relationship. My oldest George is 6 and Myckael is 3, both would make great big brothers. My Fiance thinks of the boys as his own and they will always be his, since they have an absent father. We were never "trying" to concieve it just happend in january. Although we were not doing anything to prevent it from happening. Sadly on 3/30 i woke up bleeding and at the er we were told i was having a mc. Then on 4/2 i had to have an emergency d&c, in which we are now ttc. I wish everyone who is ttc ssbd!!!

Hi my name is Alicia and I am 25 and have no children yet. My loved one is 29 and we live in Southwest Michigan. We werent "trying" the first time we got pregnant but we also werent preventing it. A few months later we found out November 09 that we were pregnant. I had many symptoms- bloated, more saliva produced, peed more frequently, sensitive to smells, sore breasts. Sadly though, we m/c at 11 weeks as the baby had stopped developing at 9 weeks. I had a D&C a few days later. It was devastating to us it was something we had never thought could happen. Our OB said to atleast wait 1 cycle to begin trying again. After my first cycle we began to try again and in March 2010 we found out we were pregnant again. It felt different this time because I had no pregnancy symptoms at all. At 5-6 weeks along I began bleeding heavily and had another m/c. I passed everything naturally and the OB said we could start trying again when we were ready. I was prescribed 50mg of Clomid in hopes that this will help release my most healthy egg/eggs. We are now in the second half of our 2ww and I cannot wait to test. Although I am terrified of both getting a BFN and will be scared of m/c again. We have had testing done although everything has come back normal. I am trying my hardest to stay positive and believe that God has a plan for us but some days it can be tough. I wish you all the best of luck in your journey of ttc. SSBD to all of you lovely ladies!

Hi my name is Jessica and I will be 29 in 8 days. I live in Texas and my boyfriend and I have been TTC for 3 months now. I got my AF this month so we will be trying again next month. I find it to be very frustrating. This will be my first child if i ever do get pregnant. I hear people talk about being diagnosed with PCOS, how do you get tested to know if you have it. I want to see if there is anything going on with me since I'm having such a hard time TTC. I try to figure out when I'm ovulating by checking my CM but still not luck plus it is hard when we do it pretty much each day. I know that we should wait a few days in between but it is kind of hard to not do it. :o) I think i'm going to start tracking my temps to see if that works but i know it will be hard to do that because my dogs wake me up at all hours of the night to take them out. ugh! I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed and pray.

Hi Ladies-
My name is Heather, I will be 25 next month and my husband and I have a beautiful daughter that will be one on May 11th.  We have been TTC our second for a couple months now.  I am still breastfeeding so my cycle is kind of messed up and I am unsure when I ovulate.  I just started temping this month so hopefully it will help me target my fertile days this time around.  Good luck to everyone and congrats to you that have already gotten your BFP!

Hi Heather,
Thanks so much for the congrats!  The group for Ds is really great and full of support.  I recently became the CL for the community group also.  It is extremely positive.  And yes, for sure Hunter is a total angel, but a cranky monster when he's tired!!  Cute though.

Glad to have a fellow Ontarian close by!

Hi Heather. I am a 26 year old mother of 2 from a previous relationship. My sons name is Tyler and he is 8. My daughters name is Paige and she is 7. I met the love of my life 6 years ago and we got married in August of 2009. We talked about getting pregnant and thought we would start trying in March 2010. I made it known that it would be ok with me if we tried sooner. We stopped preventing in around Thanksgiving and found out we were pregnant on 01/05/2010. I was having a normal pregnancy. Nausea, sensitive to smell, breast tenderness, etc. My OB does not see patients until 12 weeks and because we found out so early this made the wait to get in to the Dr feel like an eternity. On March 9th we had out appt and found out we had lost the baby about 2 weeks earlier. This was the most devastating thing that has ever happened to me. I was one of those people who thought it could never happen to me, especially cause I had 2 perfect babies already. I had a D&C on 03/11/2010. We decided not to wait to try again so once I had my postop appt and my first AF we bought an OPK and are now in the 2WW. Hoping for the best =)

Congrats on your pregnancy. Thats awesome. I hope we will be sharing in the same joy soon.

Hi Heather, My name is Sandi - I am also from Ontario Canada, and I also frequent the Canadian Women group - hopefully you are on there too.

I have been posting for a bit, been TTC for 5 Months and just learned this morning by HPT that I am finally pregnant.  (I have a pituitary tumour which prevent me from ovulating and needed medication to help).  I also was originally told that my tubes were blocked on both sides, turns out they were only in spasm, and they are fine (obviously!)

We have one 8.5 month old baby named Hunter, who also happens to have Down syndrome.  (I run the group forum for Ds).  I hope that this pregnancy of ours will run smoothly, as I find little actually runs smoothly for me.  Murphy and I are on a first name basis!!  (Murphy's law....)

Where abouts in Ontario are you located?  We live in Ajax.  How is your pregnancy going for you?  How is everyone else doing?  I just wanted to say thanks everyone for the support while I was going through all these bizarre fertility problems.

Hello! I am new here. I am a working Mommy of three wonderfully beautiful children, Madisen (8), Jackson (6), and Collin(3). I just had my IUD taken out yesterday and we are TTC our fourth bundle of joy. Just looking for some people going through the same thing and for some advice. I had the Mierna IUD after my first and had no problems getting pregnant, I was pregnant within two months after taking it out. I am hoping for the same results this time, just cant remember how long it takes to get your period after taking the IUD out.  Wishing everyone baby vibes!

Congrats on the pregnancy :)

My name is Jennie I am 25, I currently a stay home mom with my daughter who will be 11 months tomorrow.  It took us 6yrs to get preg with her.  We left it all up to God if we were to have a baby, didn't see any drs nothing.  When we did fall preg with dd i was in SHOCK.

Now dd is turning one and I would love for her to have a sibling to grow up with.  Not sure that is in our plans though.  We are still bf, have cut out a few feedings/shortened/ everything I can do until she is ready to make the decision on her own.  I was hoping to fall preg. this year and keep them somewhat close in age, but just hasn't happend yet we will keep waiting and when the time is right we hope to give her a sibling.  She is madly in love with children and would make a terrific big sister.

I still have not had a pp af, hoping we can catch the first egg but it's so hard to know if i do fall preg how the heck will i know unless i keep testing each month.  until then just enjoying the moment.  Also found an online program to get my RN but sooooo disspointed i can't get in until possibly the fall of 2011 :( not sure where we will be at that time?  Wish i could just do it now that I have more time!!!

Also have not tried temping, been tracking my cm but not sure if i am even o'ing yet just keeping my fingers crossed i catch that egg :D any suggestions? not sure i know much about temping?
