LOL. been giving DH multivitamin everyday when I take mine vitamins. He seems to look for his now... had to tell him I already gave him one today, LOL! he's so funny. So true though, not much talk about the guys but can't have a beanie w/out their "contribution". So I'm trying to keep his guys strong too, lol. I've been taking the B-6 along w/my prenatal vitamin. Found out that it's not recommended to take the dose for more than a month. Tww starts today so we'll see what happens...
lol its supposed to say that we dont talk much about getting the men ready...
well it didnt take me long to find out their are lots out there for men... its funny tho that we talk about getting the men ready for pregnancy...
yes do some research for sure! i never really thought about getting DH on vitamins but it makes sence if you think about it... i wonder if there are prenatals for guys?? or if you have to suppliment onto their regular daily vitamin?? if you find anything let me know lol i check and see what i can find also :)
Thanks lovely ladies...love y'all so much for responding. I'm going to do a bit more research & may be trying these things soon. Guess you could say in a way DH's on prenatals too, lol...started him on multivitamins 2 weeks ago.
¸¸.•*´¨.¸¸. •*´¨ SSBD to those TTCs!!! xx
PS im not sure if you need 100mg....or 50 mg? it is water soluble, but you can also try to get it from eating legumes, whole grains, yeast, liver, cereal, fish, eggs and meat...
Vitamin B6-it helps with a luteal phase defect (when a woman’s luteal phase is less than 10 days in length) it can help improve it so its longer and the woman is less likely to MC because it gives her more time... i dont know what it does for women who already have a regular luteal phase tho..
Vitamin B12- together with folic acid works to ensure that your baby's genetic codes are intact... also found to improve low sperm counts
on that note its just as important that your hubby gets additional vitamins to make sure his swimmers are at their best too... and both suppliments work best if taken for 3 months prior for both mom and dad...
I know that taking extra vitamin B helps with the TTC process but didn't know exactly what it helped. It could very well be! Good luck...try it out!
