endometriosis plus a tipped uterus

Hi everyone. I am very new to this site and was looking for some support. I've already had 2 miscarrages and have been trying for my first baby since Feb with no success. I was diagnosed with endometriosis since 06 and i know that it can affect my fertility, but i was also wondering because i also have a tipped/retroverted uterus. Any one else with these problems and any advice?

oh sorry, just saw your part about endometriosis, sepears1. i have this really great book called "sexy hormones" and it's all about balancing your hormones, and one of the issues she discusses is endometriosis. i take the supplement that she recommends for endo (but b/c i've had cysts, growths, fibroids, not endo) because all of the conditions are linked to excess estrogen: it's called 'estrosense'. i also follow her dietary guidelines to reduce estrogen. if you want to talk more about it i'm more than willing!!! just let me know (don't want to bore you if you arent' actually interested lol!)

i think this might just be an old myth and something that doctor's used to think played a part in conceiving. i also have a tipped uterus (in fact, was called "severely retroverted", whatever the hell that means!), and so does my mother, and so does my gfriend... point is that they've all had babies!!! so in my humble survey and opinion (cuz i'm not a doc) i think our chances are as high as anyone else's. at least that's what i want to believe ;)

you can sit like heather suggests for half an hour after sex to increase the chances of conception. i also do the 20 to 30 minute sit routine myself to increase my odds !!! :)

You could possibly lay for about 20 mins after sex but make sure you just put a pillow or something under your hips to keep your bottom slightly elevated. I don't know if a tipped uterus would hinder the sperm getting inside seeming how your cervix would still be in a normal place though.

Hey, at my last gynocologyst appnmt he told me I have a tipped uterus... But he said it was very common and perfectly fine :-)

haha that's funny. i try to lie still afterwards for at least 5 min, but i have a lot of trouble keeping the little peeps inside me lol

I don't know much about the either but I do know my grandma had a tipped uterus and the dr told her to stand on her head up against a wall after sex (this was about 70 years ago, lol) anyway, it worked and she went on to have three sons. It could be worth a try? Sorry I am not much more help.
