2nd POSTING - - PLEASE SOMEONE, ANYONE RESPOND

This is my 2nd posting and I'd really appreciate any type of
response.  I have had what looks like a raised pimple under my
left eye directly next to my nose for over a year now.  It looks
like it's filled with puss as it's raised on my face.  Definitely not a mole of any kind and is flesh tone.  Never itches or gives me any discomfort.  You could even say it looks
like a big mysquito bite mark.  I have called and called dermatologists in my area, however, none of them take my insurance.  The derms. that do take it are in the city and I have a month wait.  I know it's been a year on my face so what is one more month going to matter, but, I was just surfing the web and came across this site and thought maybe someone had something similiar or could have any advice.  Has anyone ever heard of sebaccaous hyperplasia.  A friend of mine told me about it and when I look at images on the web it kind of looks like what I have.  Please respond, I'd very much appreciate any
advice.

Thanks,
Sugarbabepoker

It's FLESH tone, by that I mean exact same color as my skin.
I'm sorry if I was vague, but, it basically looks like a raised
pimple filled with puss.  I didn't mean it was actually filled
with puss.  In the beginning last year when I first noticed it, I thought it WAS filled with puss and immediately began putting hot compresses on it thinking it would burst on it's own.  But, no such luck.  I will definitely put my name on a cancel list and see about getting a quicker app't.  I just figured since it hasn't changed color or bothered me in a year, it was nothing.  It does however tend to shrink at times.  Thanks for the response.

Make the appt or go to a clinic & pay for a faster dx. After a
year, it would have drained by now from hot water/shower/etc.
Your description is vague. Is it white/red/dark/smooth/rough?
It could be a wart. Does it get infected & heal? It may be a
simple tissue build-up that they can freeze off. Use warm moist
compresses to see if anything changes. Sometimes dead cells fill
into a sm. spot & either an injection or a excise will fix. Make
the call or pay from pocket. Ask to have name put on cancel-list
in case of opening. Gd-luck.

If your "pimple" is hard to the touch, it could be a stye.  These are not dangerous, but will need to be removed by a doctor.  Get the appointment with the derm. and have it removed next month.  good luck

My husband had something like this a couple years ago, it wasn't IN the eye, like you described but it was very close to the eye on/under the skin, near his nose. He had to see a special eye doctor, it turned out to be a plugged tear duct. He had it removed, which hurt, but the swelling and redness finally went away. Again, I know this sounds more like an eye problem then a skin problem, but we also couldn't tell which my husbands was, eye or skin, until the eye doc identified it. Just another thought.

I appreciate your response, but, maybe I should make myself
a bit clearer.  This is under my eye directly on my face so it's definitely not a stye but I really thank you for your thoughts.
