I'm so sorry to hear what your hubby is going through.  Tooth infection can go deep into the gum and affect bones.  I, too, had quite a struggle with my tooth infection.  If he's been taking antibiotics & NSAIDs, the blood work may not be sensitive.  If he's feeling chills and fatigue, it sounds like the infection is still not cleared.  He probably needs oral X-ray from his dentist to check for infection/inflammation, and stay on antibiotics & NSAIDs if needed.  ER docs get headaches with dental prolems.  Get him lots of smoothies - nutrition is important esp. when you cannot eat well.  Hope he feels better soon!

Im so sorry he is having such a rough time, poor guy. Is it possible that the infection  has not completly cleared? I have been hospitalize twice for an infection in my mouth(teeth) that spread unto the bone and into my bloodsteam. I has to receieve many rounds of iv antibiotics. Is he a smoker?  If so that could have caused the infection if he was smoking after having the teeth removed. Either way if he is still having theese ind of syptoms he should definitly go back and get more test done.  I hope he gets to feeling better soon Good luck!
