Abdominal Pain and the wrong diagnosis

I have been having really bad pain in my lower right side for about 6 months.
Ive been to the ER 2 times because it got so bad I couldn't breathe good.
Each time they thought it was my Apindics. My white blood count was slightly elevated and my CT scan came back normal.
By day 3 my bllod was normal and the pain was all but gone.
The first time they said it could be a virus, the second time the did tons of tests and said they have no clue.
They checked for all types of things and all they found was a cyst on my left overy, and they said that would not cause pain on my right side.
The pain is coming now more frequently and hurts worse each time. they put me on med for IBS but they are not helping at all.
I cannot afford to keep going to the ER or DOCS this often. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong or how to make the pain go away, or at least lessen I would be forever greatful.
Thanks
PammyMommy

I have already had my gallbladder out.
It had about 35 pea size stones so they took the whole thing.
Thanks tho

hey, i stumbled across an article when researching my own symptoms, and it says that even after your gall bladder is removed, new stones can form in the bile duct - did they take your bile duct with your gall bladder?  if not, it might be worth looking into...  it's called Choledocholithiasis .

anyway, it just made me think of you....

hmmmmm.... i suppose it's been long enough that the pain couldn't be blamed on doctors leaving surgical tools and such in your body during the surgery....

sorry i couldn't help.... i hope you find the answers you need!

did your dr check or suggest gall stones?  i'm pretty sure they don't USUALLY manifest pain in the lower abs (it's very possible i'm wrong though), BUT, when my mom had gall stones, her lower right side is where she hurt the most.  and i remember she hurt for many months before she ended up in the ER for emergency surgery!  it was a long time ago, so i'm not really clear on the details, but if you haven't already, it might be worth checking into...  good luck!
