Anxiety

Hi, I have had anxiety for about 10 years now...the symtoms come and go. I have tingling in my legs and arms, not numbness it just feels like goosebumps..I also get a rocking sensation and have palpitations, I went to my GP and I had 2 brain MRIs with contrast, complete bloodwork, neurological exam, went to an ENT and had a full exam there, EKG, lymes disease testing, and all were normal. So therefore I think it is my anxiety but just wanted a second opinion if there was anything else I should do? Thank you

Does having  the  MRI's done rule out anything serious such as MS, etc?

Difficult to say without examination.

Having said that, it seems that there was a comprehensive evaluation done, including multiple brain MRIs.  Further evaluation can be done in conjunction with a neurologist, as well as nerve conduction studies.  I would also obtain tests to look at the thyroid function level and B12 level.

If you have already seen a neurologist, another opinion can be sought, preferably at a major academic medical center.
