Blood in Urine

Can you tell me if passing blood in urine is a stage of prostate cancer and if so how far advanced would it be.
Thank You

My father had these symptoms.  It turned out to be bladder cancer.  His physician dismissed it for 18 months as an enlarged prostate. I highly recommend you consult a physician and make sure they test for cancer in both the prostate and bladder.

Agree with others...also could be kidney stones.  Had blood in urine at one time due to that.

there are quite a few benign reasons for passing blood in urine; however the fact that it could be more serious is the reason you need to have it checked out.  chances are it's nothing, but even if it's just an infection, you will still need antibiotics to clear it.
